Design is intentional. Story is essential. Craft emotionalizes.

I'm a hands-on builder who leads through design. I learn new domains quickly and ramp to action immediately: investing, lending, insurance, real estate, local business, and media. I've built for consumers, marketplaces, and enterprises.

Most recently I was VP, Head of Design at Yahoo Finance, where we built a wealth-building platform and diversified revenue with two new businesses, three 0→1 products, and a subscription relaunch. I rebuilt the design team and relaunched the web platform in nine months. I re-envisioned the mobile app as Executive Sponsor, built the AI product suite, and founded the AI Evangelism Team.

I work at many altitudes and blur functions depending on what the organization needs: sometimes that's shaping the product directly, sometimes it's the strategy, the team, or how functions work together. The artifacts change with the need.

I design from the inside. I act while synthesizing, treat every prototype as a hypothesis, and collapse feedback loops, acting on conviction. I've always operated this way. AI has made it more practical. Guided with vision I discover the future one day at a time, casting teams by individual strengths and building rituals over rigid processes.

I measure success by building environments that foster confidence: for users making consequential decisions, for teams doing their best work, and for businesses growing through both.
